How to remove a conch piercing?

You can try to remove your piercing with your fingers after cleaning and disinfecting your hands. However, if you feel too much resistance and can't manage it, don't force it! Use small pliers for a firmer and more controlled grip. This will allow you to gently grasp the ball of the conch piercing and push the bar out from the back of the earlobe more easily.

Does the conch heal well?

Generally speaking, we ask our clients to wait between 6 and 12 months to heal completely! This time will depend on several factors, notably:

• The piercer: firstly, don't be fooled by a conch piercing at too low a price. To avoid bad inflammatory or allergic reactions from the ear piercing, choose a professional piercer!

When to sleep on the conch?

As with other cartilage piercings, we recommend avoiding any prolonged contact with an object during the first 6 to 8 weeks after piercing. It's therefore preferable to find a sleeping position that doesn't put pressure on the piercing, such as sleeping on the opposite side or on your back. For this, you can try travel pillows with a hole to properly support your neck and avoid moving during the night.
